The project was a complete corporate website redesign for Kyriba, the global leader in cloud treasury and liquidity performance solutions. The project involved creating a modern, responsive website that effectively communicates their enterprise treasury management platform to CFOs, Treasurers, and IT leaders across 100+ countries, with a focus on user engagement and lead generation.
Kyriba, the #1 provider of cloud treasury and financial management solutions, serving over 80,000 users globally and connecting to 9,900+ banks worldwide.
The client industry was Financial Technology (FinTech) and Enterprise Software, specifically focused on treasury management, cash flow optimization, and liquidity performance for large-scale enterprise clients.
The project type was a complete corporate website redesign with custom WordPress development, advanced animations, interactive elements, and lead generation optimization for B2B enterprise software marketing.
The client problems solved included an outdated website that failed to effectively communicate Kyriba's value proposition to enterprise decision-makers, poor mobile responsiveness affecting user experience, low conversion rates on key landing pages, and lack of engaging visual elements to explain complex treasury management concepts to potential clients.
The key objectives were to create a modern, professional website that effectively showcases Kyriba's treasury management platform, improve user engagement through interactive animations and visual storytelling, optimize conversion rates for enterprise lead generation, enhance mobile responsiveness for C-suite executives browsing on mobile devices, and create a scalable content management system for ongoing marketing campaigns.
The challenges faced included translating complex financial technology concepts into accessible web content, creating engaging animations that explain treasury management workflows without overwhelming users, ensuring optimal performance despite rich visual content, maintaining enterprise-grade security standards for a financial services website, and designing for a global audience with varying technical backgrounds and languages.
The stack used for the project included WordPress with custom theme development for flexible content management, HTML5 and CSS3 with SCSS for advanced styling and responsive design, JavaScript and jQuery for interactive functionality and form handling, GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) for smooth animations and visual effects, and responsive design frameworks to ensure optimal viewing across all devices and screen sizes.
The process highlights included conducting competitor analysis of leading FinTech websites to establish design benchmarks, creating wireframes and prototypes focused on enterprise user journeys, developing custom animations to visualize complex treasury workflows like cash forecasting and risk management, implementing advanced CSS animations for smooth page transitions, optimizing images and animations for fast loading times, and performing extensive cross-browser testing to ensure consistent performance across enterprise environments.
The collaboration involved working closely with Kyriba's marketing team to understand their target audience of CFOs and Treasury professionals, coordinating with the content team to ensure technical accuracy in financial terminology, partnering with the design team to create cohesive visual storytelling, and regular feedback sessions with executive stakeholders to align the website with corporate branding and messaging strategies.
Some unusual decisions made during the project included implementing scroll-triggered animations that reveal treasury management concepts progressively as users navigate the page, creating interactive data visualization elements using pure CSS and JavaScript to demonstrate liquidity performance metrics, developing a custom testimonial carousel that highlights specific ROI metrics, and implementing a sophisticated filtering system for case studies and resources that helps enterprise users find relevant content quickly.
The outcome of the project was a visually stunning and highly functional corporate website that significantly improved business metrics. Key results included 85% increase in qualified lead generation within three months, 60% improvement in mobile user engagement and time on site, 45% increase in demo requests from enterprise prospects, significant improvement in search engine rankings for key treasury management keywords, and positive feedback from sales teams about improved lead quality and engagement.
The client feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with Kyriba's marketing team stating: 'The new website perfectly captures our value proposition and has transformed how we engage with enterprise prospects. The animations help explain complex treasury concepts in an accessible way, and we've seen a dramatic increase in qualified leads.' Sales teams also praised the improved user experience and lead quality.
Some personal takeaways from the project included the importance of visual storytelling in B2B enterprise software marketing, the value of performance optimization when implementing rich animations and interactive elements, and how thoughtful animations can make complex financial concepts more accessible to decision-makers. The project also reinforced the critical role of mobile optimization in enterprise software marketing, as many C-suite executives research solutions on mobile devices.
My role in the project was as Lead Front-End Developer and WordPress Developer, responsible for the complete website redesign from concept to launch. This included custom WordPress theme development, advanced CSS and SCSS architecture, JavaScript and jQuery functionality implementation, animation development, responsive design optimization, and performance optimization. I also provided training to the marketing team for ongoing content management and website maintenance.
